More SingleC Success

Another Testimony from our members at the Single Christian Network

(I am happily married, August 2006!)

Hello brothers and sisters in Christ. I got married on July 02 2005 to the most wonderful Christian lady I met on SingleC.com. We are committed to each other!!! This is not just a testimony of a Christian Dating Service but more importantly the power of prayer, reading the bible and then doing what is the Lords will. In life filter all things through the bible. (Profile, now not active, I am not looking anymore!!!)My walk with Christ and then my family are the most important things in my life. Part of Joshua 24: 15, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. 1 Timothy 3:1-16. Matthew 7: 15-23, Mark 16: 15-18, I Corinthians 13: 1-13, John 3:3. If a picture is worth a thousand words how much is this music worth with the pictures it brings to my mind? My favorite Tenor is Andrea Bocelli. I enjoy Strauss and would love to learn how to waltz someday. Some other types of music I enjoy are Dave Matthews, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Hootie & The Blowfish, Bruce Springsteen, 80's & 90's complition CD's, Norah Jones, John Denver, Hot Rize, Marc Anthony, The Mavericks, Martina McBride, Randy Travis, Al Green, Bluegrass gospel and other types with a Christian orientation. I love going to the movies although I have walked out on many. Some of the movies I have liked are, Angela’s Ashes, Billy Elliot, Babet’s Feast, The Hiding Place, Shindlers List, The Shawshank Redemption, Braveheart, Rob Roy, Saving Privet Ryan, The Firm, The Matrix, Patch Adams, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. John Wilbye / Love Not MeLove not me for comely grace, For my pleasing eye or face;Nor for any outward part, No, nor for my constant heart; For those may fail or turn to ill, So thou and I shall sever. Keep therefore a true woman’s eye, And love me still, but know not why;So hast thou the same reason still To doat upon me ever. This poem may be used for either genders view of the other. Most people have heard beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I wonder in today’s world how many people truly understand the perception of beauty beyond the eye. I have seen elderly couples holding hands and looking at each other with such love it is evident they still see the beauty in each other, beauty that may seem faded from a bystanders view. Much of what life is about, growing old with a soul mate and still finding that beauty in each other within the golden years, beauty that is not humanly possible to completely comprehend. A true gift from God.
