Christian Love Story!

I met my future husband on the Single Christian Network October 2005, and we were married this December 9, 2006. We are very happy, and between us now we have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. Thank you very much for your site and you may us a portion of this message for a testimony of how the Lord works through this site. We never would have met otherwise, as we lived almost 100 miles from each other. (Dating was a challenge.)
Really appreciate you being there when the Lord was ready for me to meet my Christian friend. His wife had died and the Lord knew what each of us needed.
Thanks again.

More SingleC Success

Another Testimony from our members at the Single Christian Network

(I am happily married, August 2006!)

Hello brothers and sisters in Christ. I got married on July 02 2005 to the most wonderful Christian lady I met on We are committed to each other!!! This is not just a testimony of a Christian Dating Service but more importantly the power of prayer, reading the bible and then doing what is the Lords will. In life filter all things through the bible. (Profile, now not active, I am not looking anymore!!!)My walk with Christ and then my family are the most important things in my life. Part of Joshua 24: 15, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. 1 Timothy 3:1-16. Matthew 7: 15-23, Mark 16: 15-18, I Corinthians 13: 1-13, John 3:3. If a picture is worth a thousand words how much is this music worth with the pictures it brings to my mind? My favorite Tenor is Andrea Bocelli. I enjoy Strauss and would love to learn how to waltz someday. Some other types of music I enjoy are Dave Matthews, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Hootie & The Blowfish, Bruce Springsteen, 80's & 90's complition CD's, Norah Jones, John Denver, Hot Rize, Marc Anthony, The Mavericks, Martina McBride, Randy Travis, Al Green, Bluegrass gospel and other types with a Christian orientation. I love going to the movies although I have walked out on many. Some of the movies I have liked are, Angela’s Ashes, Billy Elliot, Babet’s Feast, The Hiding Place, Shindlers List, The Shawshank Redemption, Braveheart, Rob Roy, Saving Privet Ryan, The Firm, The Matrix, Patch Adams, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. John Wilbye / Love Not MeLove not me for comely grace, For my pleasing eye or face;Nor for any outward part, No, nor for my constant heart; For those may fail or turn to ill, So thou and I shall sever. Keep therefore a true woman’s eye, And love me still, but know not why;So hast thou the same reason still To doat upon me ever. This poem may be used for either genders view of the other. Most people have heard beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I wonder in today’s world how many people truly understand the perception of beauty beyond the eye. I have seen elderly couples holding hands and looking at each other with such love it is evident they still see the beauty in each other, beauty that may seem faded from a bystanders view. Much of what life is about, growing old with a soul mate and still finding that beauty in each other within the golden years, beauty that is not humanly possible to completely comprehend. A true gift from God.

Dating Ideas

Dating Ideas can range from dinner and a movie to a scavenger hunt that leads to a marriage proposal. Whatever a person's motive for finding fun dating ideas, he can make sure that he has his significant other's interests in mind. It is a fine art to choreograph a perfect evening, especially if one is not used to doing the activity. The first thing a person needs to do when researching is to think about his or her goals. He needs to decide what he is trying to accomplish using fun dating ideas. He should decide how much money he is willing to spend on the date. Some rendezvous can be spontaneous and adventurous, others more formal. It doesn't do him any good to plan a walk in the woods at midnight if a person's significant other is afraid of the dark and hates the outdoors. Dating Ideas that come from friends should be considered only as a starting point in which to develop personal ideas. They can be found online or in dating books. It is important to keep meetings safe and ethical. There is nothing worse than spending the time developing great dating ideas and have them fail because of planning or personal thought. Once a person decides on several options, the next step is to create a plan focusing on the time needed to make everything work well. Great times almost always come with a cost, so it is important to budget responsibly for a good time. The time spent planning fun dating ideas will be wasted if the whole time is spent worrying about the amount of money spent in order to make the day happen. Some general things to think about when developing ideas is the time period available, the amount of money to work with, the date's interests, and the goals for the time spent. Once the answers to these questions have been written down, the next steps will be easy to accomplish. The most important three areas to plan are transportation, spending, and attire. Dating ideas can be generated by knowing someone a long time and developing the day to his or her interests, researching online, or asking anyone who has ever dated. Because the Bible tells us to "be not unequally yoked" with unbelievers, we have more responsibility to date properly. It is important to keep a Christian perspective when planning so that the events don't turn into a negative experience for anyone.
